Founded in 2001, New England Safety Services (NESS) specializes in Health & Safety Training like CPR, First Aid and AED usage. We also provide public awareness seminars, conduct safety audits, and sell products like AED's and First Aid equipment. Over-all, NESS is your one-stop shop for all of your Health & Safety needs.

David B. Barnett, BS, RN, NRP, I/C is the Owner/President of NESS. Dave is also currently a Registered Nurse and a paramedic in the Boston Area. Being a Health & Safety Educator for over 30 years, he has taught numerous courses for a variety of populations and groups. He is current instructor for American Heart Association, American Red Cross and an Instructor Trainer for Health and Safety Institute. He also holds the designation of Instructor/Coordinator from the Massachusetts Office of EMS. Dave has also been involved in EMS since 1991 and has been a paramedic in Massachusetts for the past 20 years. As a member of the MA-2 DMAT team with NDMS/US. Dept. of Health and Human Services, he has assisted at disasters such as Hurricanes IVAN, KATRINA, IKE, IRMA, MARIA and most recently with COVID-19. Some of Dave’s awards and recognitions are: Eagle Scout, and Instructor of the Year from the Red Cross. In his free time, he is active with Scouts, USA (aka Boy Scouts) where he coordinates the CPR and First Aid Training for the Mayflower Council, BSA
