CPR and First Aid Training at your home!
Learn how to save a life from your own home! New England Safety Services (NESS) is doing monthly online classes teaching CPR and First Aid. Topics include CPR and AED use for Adults, Children, and Infants. First aid topics include various Medical Events and Injury Emergencies for Adults and Children. Various classes to fit your scheduling needs.
COVID-19 Alert!
With most if not all of the COVID-19 restrictions being lifted, we are now able to offer FULLY LIVE Classes! This means we can offer any class in the following manner:
- In-Person: This is where an instructor is present in the classroom with the students. Students will watch videos and have hands-on skills session with other students and instructor present.
- Blended-Learning: Make the most of a flexible, hybrid approach that combines online cognitive learning and in-person, hands-on skills practice for your certification
- Remote Skills Verification: Combine blended online training with live, online remote skills verification from an authorized Instructor.
We realize that your safety and comfort is paramount. We want you to choose the learning platform that is comfortable for you while still being able to learn these lifesaving skills/information.

CPR/AED Course
This 2.5-hour course teaches you how to perform lifesaving CPR skills for Adults, Children, and Infants. You will also learn how to use an AED safely, how to enter a scene safely and how to protect yourself against bloodborne pathogens. After completion of the course, you will receive a 2-year certification card and a digital copy of the textbook. The cost of this class includes all the materials/supplies.
This class can be conducted either by “In-Person”, “Blended Learning” or “Virtual Format via Zoom Meeting.
Basic First Aid Course
This 2.5-hour course teaches you how to perform lifesaving CPR skills for Adults, Children, and Infants. You will also learn how to use an AED safely, how to enter a scene safely and how to protect yourself against bloodborne pathogens. After completion of the course, you will receive a 2-year certification card and a digital copy of the textbook. The cost of this class includes all the materials/supplies.

CPR and First Aid Course
This 3.5-4-hour course will teach you how to take care of a loved one, friend, or complete stranger. We review CPR for the Adult, Child, and Infant victim, along with what to do if they choke. The medical emergency section reviews heart attack and stroke, diabetic emergency, seizure, and breathing difficulties. Injury section teaches what to do if some receives a cut or scrape, burn, or broken bone. Finally, we review how to take care of bee stings and environmental emergencies, such as hypothermia and heat stroke.

Emergency Medical Responder
This "Advanced First Aid" course provides training with the recognition and immediate care for injury or sudden illness, including medical emergencies prior to the availability of medical care of other healthcare/EMS professionals. Skills such as Patient Assessment, CPR (Adult/Child/Infant), AED, and Bleeding Control/Shock Management and Medical Emergencies are covered.
Course Length: 14 hours
All persons successfully completing the course will receive a 3-year certification card from the American Safety & Health Institute.
CABS (Child and Babysitting Safety)
The Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) program is a community education program that covers child safety and basic care techniques for infants and children. CABS was developed with a number of other national organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Course Length: 5-6 hours
All persons successfully completing the course will receive a 2-year certification card from the American Safety & Health Institute.
Oxygen Administration
Serious and life-threatening medical emergencies often cause oxygen to be depleted in the body, leaving the victim at risk for cardiac arrest or brain damage. Supplemental oxygen is a critical step in treating a severe or life-threatening illness or injury. This program focuses on administering emergency oxygen, rescue breathing and oxygen devices.
Course Length: 2-3 hours
All persons successfully completing the course will receive a 2-year certification card from the American Safety & Health Institute.
Disaster Preparedness
Would you, your love ones, or co-workers know what to do when a disaster strikes? This course covers natural and man-made disasters and is designed to help reduce fear and uncertainty through personal preparation and planning. This course is helpful for home and/or organizations.
Course Length: 1-2 hours
